北京全体のレポートまとめはこちら 北京全体のレポートまとめはこちら 会場の雰囲気はMakezineのレポート{.markup–anchor .markup–p-anchor}に写真がたっぷり載っていて詳しい。 僕らが撮影した写真はこちら。 201708 Maker Faire Beijing 2017 194 new photos · Album by takasu masakazugoo.gl{.markup–anchor .markup–mixtapeEmbed-anchor} Maker Faire Beijingは2015年からスタートしていて、僕はその第1回に行きました。呼んでもらったのであまりネガティブな事は言いたくないけど、知名度がほしいスタートアップ（しかも北京じゃない会社のほうが多い）と、中国伝統工芸の職人（扇子に書道するとか）ばっかりで規模も大きくなく、実際のMaker Faireを知らない役人が立ち上げてみた感を感じました。 2016年は訪れてないのですが、MakerFaire ShenzhenのMonicaが訪れた写真を見ると、それに比べるとだいぶ「メイカーフェア」っぽくなっていたように見えました。 で、今年。会場外側の変形するロボット、ダンボールでできたF1カー、会場いっぱいのブースで遊ぶ子供たち。たしかに「メイカーフェア」になっていました。2015年からは大進化。 内容は教育系のブースかスタートアップという感じで「ここでしか見れない面白いもの」はさほどなく、「他のメイカーフェアに比べてどうか」という視点ではあまりオススメできません。北京は結構面白いスタートアップやメイカーがいるわりにメイカーフェアにブースを見なかったので、主催の歌華集団が北京のコミュニティ全体にうまくアプローチできてない感じはしました。 多くの教育関係ブースが参加し、天津の大学から来たロボティクスのグループなど、他の地域のメイカーフェアで見られない人たちもいました。メイカー達のトークで構成されるカンファレンスはとても面白かったので、来年以降に向けてより北京のメイカー達のコミュニティが大きくなり、よりみんなが楽しみにするイベントになるといいなあと思ってます。 By TAKASU Masakazu/高須正和{.p-author .h-card} on August 23, 2017.
